High-Purity Ultrafine Hafnium Carbide (HfC) Powder

Hafnium carbide (HfC) is an ultra-high-temperature transition-metal carbide with a cubic crystal structure and a grey powder appearance. It is recognized for its exceptionally high melting point (approximately 3,890°C), high hardness, retained strength at elevated temperature, corrosion resistance and relatively low thermal conductivity. These characteristics make HfC a strong candidate for demanding thermal-protection and wear-resistant material systems.
